Product manager commercial

We're looking for a visionary leader to shape the future of our low-slope commercial roofing portfolio. This role will bridge market insights with business strategy, driving product innovation and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate growth and profitability. Your work will play a key role in strengthening CertainTeed and GCP's position as a leader in the Building Envelope Industry.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to bring innovative commercial roofing solutions from concept to market-turning great ideas into high-performing products that set industry standards.

-Be the go-to expert for all things commercial roofing. Dive deep into customer insights, field feedback, and competitive trends to uncover opportunities and guide smart business decisions.

-Own the lifecycle of our low-slope roofing portfolio-launching new products, enhancing existing ones, and optimizing performance to maximize profitability and impact.

-Partner with senior leadership to shape growth strategies that fuel innovation, strengthen our portfolio, and expand our market presence.

-Collaborate with marketing to craft powerful messaging, campaigns, and tools that elevate brand visibility, inspire customers, and drive demand.

-Team up with Supply Chain to keep operations running smoothly-ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time.

-Keep leadership connected with clear, actionable updates. Highlight wins, risks, and opportunities while helping prioritize what matters most.

-Develop smart pricing strategies that balance value, profitability, and market competitiveness.

-Be the face of the brand at trade shows, customer events, and industry forums-building relationships that strengthen loyalty and open new doors.

-5+ years of product management experience, ideally with a track record of delivering results in complex, deadline-driven environments.

-Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to prioritize, influence, and drive cross-functional collaboration.

-Analytical and curious mindset - naturally eager to dig into data, uncover insights, and solve problems creatively.

-Digitally fluent communicator - confident using Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Copilot) to craft compelling presentations, manage data, and collaborate seamlessly across teams.

-Comfortable in a technical environment, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable strategies.

-Experience in commercial roofing, building materials, or the broader building envelope industry is a strong plus.

-Success navigating large, matrixed organizations and influencing across functions is preferred.
