Purpose and Objectives

SAP NS2 offers a streamlined, secure adoption of SAP cloud innovation to the most security-conscious organizations across all industries – from commercial entities in regulated industries including utilities, financial services, healthcare, to organizations within government and defense agencies. In this role as a SAP NS2 Cloud Controller, you are part of the SAP NS2 finance team supporting SAP Sovereign Cloud. The SAP NS2 cloud business has grown rapidly and in 2025 is expected to support over $500M+ of revenue annually and continues to grow into new segments. As the Trusted Partner to this team, they bear responsibility for overseeing Cloud profitability for the business. This position also works closely with local and global colleagues in achieving controlling initiatives including alignment on revenues and cloud expenses aligned to solution area.

Expectations and Tasks

• Overseeing complex deal structures end-to-end, including structuring, revenue recognition, reporting, and forecasting.
• Manage cross-functional processes for complex deals, coordinating with SAP and key stakeholders to ensure accurate execution.
• Ensure all complex deal structures comply with SOX controls and audit requirements.
• Manage financial performance of Cloud Units within SAP/NS2.
• Work closely with other NS2 teams (Sales, Operations, Delivery).
• Focus on Cost of Cloud and Cost of R&D topics as it relates to NS2 delivery.
• Actively drive improvements for NS2 Cloud (i.e. reporting and processes).
• Coordinate and orchestrate financial controlling support for NS2 Cloud.

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies

• University Degree in Finance/ Accounting. MBA / CPA a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong team player.
• Comfortable to collaborate with all hierarchy levels of the organization.
• Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral presentation abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel.
• Strong understanding of SAP IT systems and applications (BW, ERP, Analytics for Office, SAC).

Work Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in Finance/Accounting or Controlling functions.
• Proven ability to drive business transformation and execution against ambitious milestones.

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 69800 - 152300(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
