General accountant

Part-time or Full-time

The General Accountant supports the overall financial operations, focusing on general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and reporting. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial data and providing insights for budget management. All members of our staff must align with the mission of Bold Hope and its values.

Essential Functions:

• Record monthly revenue from Salesforce into QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Reconcile Stripe, Salesforce, and bank accounts.
• Generate monthly partner reports from Salesforce.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of all cash, bank, credit card and loan accounts.
• Update and maintain investment accounts.
• Manage entries for depreciation, accrued expenses, debt, and unpaid bills.
• Process payroll allocations.
• Perform monthly data and project roll-ups in Core QBO.
• Ensure the accurate categorization of all core expenses.
• Adjust core account balances as needed.
• Track, record and reconcile all grants and projects in balances in Core QBO.
• Run monthly reports to track actuals against budget.
• Review core budgets.
• Conduct general ledger reviews and make adjustments.
• Review fund balances for both bank and project accounts.
• Act as a liaison for core country financial matters.
• Assist with Audit and other compliance reporting
• Salesforce:
• Ensure the integrity of data input and make adjustments as needed.
• Manage the stock donation process.
• Ensure pledge lists are clean and accurate.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Salesforce proficiency helpful
• Paychex proficiency helpful
• Quickbooks Online proficiency required
• Proficient with Google Suite, Excel/Sheets, and related software

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degrees and 2 years relevant experience in accounting.
