Position Description:

This position requires someone to be in a hybrid office work setting in Pittsburgh, PA.

CGI is looking for a Software Engineering Lead responsible for writing programs to maintain and control computer systems software for operating systems, networked systems, and database systems. The candidate will also be responsible for creating the software platform, and then fine-tuning the final program after it has been made.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems.

. Advise customer about, or perform, maintenance of software system. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures.

. Inform customers or other departments on project status, proposals and technical issues such as software system design and maintenance.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Ability to work independently and manage one's time.

. Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.

. Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.

. Knowledge of computer development software, such as ACE, IIB, MuleSoft, PEGA, FTM etc.

. Bachelor's degree in computer science/relevant field or equivalent work experience required.

. 8+ years' experience required.

. Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.

. Direct software programming and development of documentation.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $198,400.00.
