As a Full Time Behavior Technician (BHT), you will:
- Work one-to-one with clients in clinic, home, and/or school setting, implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to create meaningful change.
- Assistclients in improving communication, social, and independent living skills.
- Collaborate with family, caregivers, and treatment teams to deliver effective support.
- Follow treatmentplanand educate others about ABA interventions.
- Collect andmaintaindata, manage client program materials, and foster therapeutic relationships.
Position Qualifications for a Behavior Technician (BHT):
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: 6 months of experience with children and adolescents with Autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Strong communicationskills and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Must be able to travel to various service locations with reliable transportation.
Working Conditions:
- Local travel (20% estimated) during business hours (7 AM - 7 PM).
- Ability tolift upto 50 lbs. and perform physical activities like walking and bending.
