Custodian (1st Shift)
Pay: $18/hr.
Shift: Mon-Fri (6:45am to 3:15pm)
Description:
- Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a Custodian to keep the facility including the warehouse, offices, rest rooms, lunch room, property and pit areas in a clean an orderly condition.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Prior custodial experience
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend English
- Required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Frequent need to talk or hear. Occasional need to sit; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.
- The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds up to 50% of shift.
Job Duties:
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, dusts, and vacuums warehouse, lunchroom, and office space.
- Cleans bathrooms daily and keeps them stocked.
- Manages cleaning supplies.
- Cleans behind bumpers in the warehouse.
- Maintains a clean dock area.
- Maintains a clean parking lot.
- Washes windows.
- Cleans sprinkler pipes as required.
- Empties trash containers, collects trash / cardboard and loads it on straight truck.
- Manages trash, cardboard and shrink-wrap.
- Assists in snow and ice removal around building and on parking lots.
- Cuts grass and trims weeds around facility.
- Must perform all duties in SSOP's and SQF standards.
- Required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
