Job Summary:

As our Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers. You will develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue, including identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and closing deals. You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our products and services, and providing technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed sales goals by generating new business, managing existing accounts, and building relationships with customers

• Develop and implement sales plans, including identifying new opportunities and leads

• Provide technical support to customers by offering product advice and expertise

• Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction

• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities

• Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to promote our products and services

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports

Qualifications:

• Proven sales experience in the lumber and building materials industry

• Strong knowledge of the industry, products, and services

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to customer locations

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
