Core Java Developer
Akkodis is seeking a Core Java Developer for a Contract with a client in Pittsburgh, PA. The candidate must have strong Core Java expertise to design robust components and support end‑to‑end development tasks.
Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Core Java Developer Job Responsibilities Include- Design and implement high‑performance, scalable Java modules and backend components.
- Manage Java build processes, deployment activities, and ensure smooth integration across environments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues, ensuring stability and optimized performance.
- Contribute to GUI and rich client application development where required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience in Core Java development and related backend technologies.
- Strong expertise in Core Java with proven experience in Java build, deployment processes, and performance‑oriented application development.
- Experience developing and supporting GUI/Rich Client applications using Java‑based frameworks.
