Position Responsibilities:
- Conducting biopsychosocial assessments to determine appropriate level of care for the patient.
- Collaborating with outpatient providers.
- Understand and present acuity, rationale for continued stay, treatment goals and discharge criteria.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation.
- Provide support to the team when needed.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the treatment team.
- When needed, obtain current information on each patient’s clinical progress from various sources and present complete and appropriate clinical information to managed care companies.
Education, Competencies and Credentials:
- Master's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling or Social Work required.
- PA provisional or associate licensed in the social services field (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC), full or independent licensure preferred.
- Experience working with patients who have eating disorders is strongly preferred.
- Current credentialing with managed care panels highly desired.
- Bilingual is a plus
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
