Job Summary:

• Provide support for movement and tracking movement of all goods on site and in transit, being raw materials, intermediates and finished goods made and owned by plant.
• Principal accountabilities Check and maintain movement of inventory on site, must keep accurate records of inventory levels and location for easy retrieval.
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system and preparation of stock transfer documents and tracking of all movements through SAP.
• Comply with all regulatory Hazardous Waste requirements in handling and shipping Be or become certified for all industrial equipment required to operate their position.
• This will include sit down fork-lifts, reach trucks, and pallet trucks.
• Responsible for the put-away of all raw materials and finished goods.
• This includes using scanning equipment and labelling raw materials and finished goods.
• Responsible for package preservation which includes the shrink wrapping, banding, and staging of all finished goods.
• Be responsible for preparation of export of finished goods, starting from QA release, preparation of pick lists, delivery notes and transfer invoices.
• Manage and control continuous inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks as well as responsibility for managing and running planned stock takes.
• Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete raw materials to maximize availability of working capital, ensuring Quarantine and aged WIP products are used to prevent aging of parts
• Ensure materials are ready and available for production as and when required.
• Ensure that rejected material is being accounted for and assist in sorting rejects
• Ensure works orders are correct and fully completed and that all stock has been allocated to the job correctly.
• Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.
• To perform activities according the established EHS system and to suggest improvements of the same.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and the implementation of best practice principles, to enhance performance and operations
