HVAC Apprentice

We are currently looking for an HVAC Helper/Apprentice. This is an entry-level position with on the job training. We are looking for someone who upon demonstrating aptitude, desire and hard work - learns a great skill that will provide you a good living as you grow into a service technician or installer. The right candidate should be mechanically inclined with a willingness to take instruction and a willingness to learn the trade, have great time management skills and be willing to fit into the existing staff and be team oriented .Upon hiring, our end goal is to train in all aspects of HVAC installation, maintenance and repair and for you to grow to become an HVAC Technician with our company. Apprentice Responsibilities:
- Learn how to install and maintain heating and air conditioning equipment for both residential and commercial systems.
- Completing tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Assist with cleaning on work site, as needed.
- Be able to lift/move heavy objects (50+lbs.), climb ladders, and work at heights, as needed.
- Assist in maintaining tools and/or equipment, stock and parts as needed.
- Assist in keeping vehicles and warehouse clean and organized.
- Updating your job knowledge as you progress.
FT Position. Occasional Evenings and weekends (if needed).
Apprentice Qualifications:
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Mechanical /Technical/Mathematical skills.
- Teamwork.
- Reliable, dependable, honest, hard-working.
- Positive attitude.
- Pays close attention to detail, organization and work flow.
- A growth mindset and passion for learning.
Apprentice Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Good physical strength and hand-eye coordination may be required.
