Doc Control Specialist

Job Title: Document Control SpecialistJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Document Control Specialist to assist in managing document control processes, specifically focusing on engineering drawings. This role involves facilitating engineering workflows, such as Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Field Change Notices (FCNs), while effectively communicating with customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in document control systems, pay close attention to detail, and possess strong troubleshooting skills for printer-related issues. Responsibilities + Assist with the check-out and check-in of engineering drawings. + Facilitate engineering workflows including ECNs and FCNs. + Communicate effectively with customers regarding documentation processes. + Demonstrate proficiency with document control systems and maintain attention to detail. + Perform hard copy plotting and troubleshoot paper jams in printers. + Engage in hard copy production tasks approximately 1-2 days per week. Essential Skills + Experience in document control and data entry. + Familiarity with project administration and coordination. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). + Minimum of 6 months of experience or familiarity with document controls. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School diploma. + Experience in construction administration is a plus. Work Environment The role is a staff augmentation position located in Allentown, where the candidate will work closely with the Document Control/Project Control Team. This is an in-office position requiring a commitment of 5 days per week. The company offers a supportive culture and a bonus program upon direct hire. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
