Job Title: Athletic Director

Location: All Star Sports Complex
Reports To: Property Manager

All Star Sports Complex is seeking a driven, knowledgeable, and organized Athletic Director to lead and grow our sports programming. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in athletics, a sports-focused academic foundation, and a passion for delivering high-quality sports leagues, tournaments, and events. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, a deep understanding of local sports communities and seasonal play, and the leadership skills to manage and expand athletic offerings at the complex.

• Program Development & Management:
  Plan, organize, and oversee youth and adult sports leagues, clinics, tournaments, and special events across a variety of sports (e.g., soccer, basketball, flag football, volleyball).
  
• Scheduling & Coordination:
  Manage scheduling of leagues, team registrations, facility use, and tournament brackets. Coordinate referees, coaches, and support staff as needed.
  
• Community Engagement:
  Build strong relationships with local schools, clubs, recreational organizations, and city programs. Promote All Star Sports as a hub for competitive and recreational sports.
  
• Marketing & Growth:
  Collaborate with the sales team to promote programs, increase participation, and identify new opportunities for revenue and expansion.
  
• Entrepreneurial Strategy:
  Identify market trends, develop new sports offerings, and seek innovative ways to grow participation and profitability.
  
• Operations & Logistics:
  Ensure all sports events run smoothly, are well-staffed, and maintain high safety and quality standards.
  
• Staff Supervision:
  Train and oversee staff, referees, and volunteers involved in sports programming.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field required
  
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sports league or tournament management, athletic program coordination, or recreation management
  
• Strong knowledge of local sports leagues, seasons, and athletic trends
  
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  
• Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to drive participation and business growth
  
• Proficient in scheduling, budgeting, and program development
  
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and peak sports seasons as needed
