About the Externship

Our externship program is designed to provide veterinary students with real-world exposure to a wide range of clinical cases while working alongside dedicated veterinarians, specialists, technicians, and support teams.

Externs may gain experience in:

• Small animal general practice
• Emergency and critical care
• Specialty medicine and surgery
• Diagnostic imaging and advanced diagnostics
• Patient assessment and treatment planning
• Client communication and collaborative care

Students will have opportunities to observe procedures, participate in case discussions and rounds, and develop practical clinical skills in a supportive learning environment.
