Optician/Customer Service Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $15.00 to $18.00 / hour
• Full Time and Part Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 09:00am to 05:00pm )

• Assist patients in selecting eyeglasses and contact lenses based on prescriptions.
• Ensure proper fit of eyeglasses by performing measurements, adjustments, and minor repairs as needed.
• Interpret optical prescriptions accurately and provide patients with clear guidance on lens types, frame options, and proper eyewear care.
• Educate patients on available products, including lens coatings, materials, and contact lens options.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions, concerns, and follow up needs professionally.
• Handle administrative tasks such as managing inventory, processing insurance claims, answering phone calls, and scheduling patient appointments

Optician/Customer Service Qualifications:

• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must have excellent phone skills.
• Must be able to work with a sense of urgency, it’s a fast-paced office environment.
• Must be willing to learn the trade of eyeglass fitting and repairs.

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
