Job Title: Director of Rehab - Physical Therapist

Location: Lock Haven, PA

Salary: $40.00 - $55.00/hour (salaried)

Hours: 40 hours/week

Schedule: Monday-Friday, no weekend rotation

Restrictions/Notes: New grads cannot be considered; PT only

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Rehab to join our team. As the Director of Rehab, you will oversee and manage all aspects of the physical therapy department within our facility. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide the best possible care for our residents.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement treatment plans for residents in accordance with physician orders and resident needs

- Conduct evaluations and reassessments to determine the resident's progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Supervise and mentor a team of physical therapists and assistants

- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines

- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide a holistic approach to resident care

- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding treatment plans and progress

- Participate in facility meetings and provide education and training to staff as needed

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all treatments and progress notes

- Monitor and manage the department budget and equipment needs

- Participate in facility marketing and outreach efforts to promote the physical therapy department and services offered

Qualifications:

- Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility

- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred

- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current physical therapy practices and techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Proficiency in electronic medical records and documentation

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
