Overview
We are seeking energetic and motivated Substitute Teachers and Support Staff to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will step into classrooms and support environments to ensure smooth daily operations, foster positive learning experiences, and maintain a nurturing atmosphere for students of all ages. This position offers paid opportunities for individuals passionate about education and working with children, whether in a classroom setting or supporting educational activities.

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or develop engaging activities aligned with curriculum standards
• Support classroom management and behavior management strategies to create a safe, respectful learning environment
• Assist with curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and early childhood education initiatives
• Work closely with students of diverse needs, including those with autism or in special education programs
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging participation and confidence in learning activities
• Maintain clear communication with school staff regarding student progress and classroom needs
• Support classroom routines such as attendance, transitions, and childcare duties in preschool or early childhood settings

Experience

• Prior classroom experience or support roles in educational settings is preferred
• Experience working with children across various age groups, including preschool and elementary levels
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies
• Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy or math instruction is advantageous
• Experience working with individuals with autism or in special education environments is a plus
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents
• Background in early childhood education, Montessori methods, or childhood development enhances candidacy

Pay: $100.00 - $125.00 per day
