Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time opportunity for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) serves students across grades K-12 in a dedicated educational setting in Pennsylvania. The role is an onsite contract position lasting through the 2025-2026 school year, with immediate start available and continuing through June 16, 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across a diverse K-12 caseload.
• Develop and implement individualized educational plans tailored to the needs of each student.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure accessibility and effective communication.
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to promote academic achievement and social development.
• Maintain compliance with state and district educational standards and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Pennsylvania Teaching License.
• Active licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
• Experience working with school-aged children with hearing impairments across multiple grade levels.
• Ability to work on-site full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational teams.
