Summary of position : The secretary supports and assists the program supervisor(s) in the execution of his/her responsibilities by efficiently and competently fulfilling designated responsibilities in the support and furtherance of program and BCIU operations. Job Responsibilities (see attached for additional details): - Maintain and update reports concerning the status of vehicles being repaired.
- Prepare, on a monthly basis, a Vehicle Service Report.
- Prepare various monthly invoices for Transportation Department as required.
- Enter transportation calendars into ACCESS Database.
- Track inventory levels of parts, diesel, and unleaded fuels. Order items as needed or directed by Administration.
- Contact and organize personnel for snow removal of vehicles and transportation lots as directed by Administration.
- Assist the Supervisor, Vehicle Maintenance in scheduling and confirming appointments for the repair and/or service of vehicles.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer applications skills.
- Ability to operate various pieces of office equipment.
- Ability to understand the need for and maintain confidentiality.
- Possess or obtain, within six months, valid PA Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with school bus and passenger endorsements.
Schedule: 6 a.m. - 3 p.m., 40 hours/week, 12 months/year Salary: $15.53/hour
