Maintenance Technician

The Building Maintenance Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and appearance of office buildings, apartments, and grounds. This position involves both training and hands-on work across various maintenance disciplines, including general maintenance, plumbing, painting, carpentry, HVAC support, and electrical tasks. The role requires participation in an on-call rotation, ensuring prompt response to maintenance needs.

• Perform general building repairs, apartment turns, painting, and cleaning with a focus on enjoying painting tasks.
• Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, drains, and disposals.
• Replace bulbs, fixtures, ballasts, and exit lights throughout the buildings.
• Assist with HVAC, boiler, and building system checks; report any issues to the supervisor.
• Support HVAC maintenance tasks including filter changes, belt checks, coil cleaning, and thermostat adjustments.
• Conduct minor carpentry work, wall and ceiling repairs, and interior painting.
• Monitor work orders and complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, vendors, and coworkers.
• Travel between properties in Lancaster as needed, with mileage reimbursement provided.
• Perform additional duties as required.

This position involves direct placement with a Monday-Friday schedule starting at 7 am, plus participation in an on-call rotation. The role requires travel between residential and commercial properties in Lancaster, with mileage reimbursement provided.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lancaster, PA.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
