Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist to join our front desk team. The ideal candidate will have prior veterinary hospital experience and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet clients in person and over the phone
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Check patients in and out for visits
• Process payments and handle billing inquiries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and other staff
• Provide general information about services, policies, and preventive care
• Manage incoming calls, emails, and prescription refill requests

Qualifications:

• Previous veterinary hospital experience required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable with computers and veterinary software (experience with Covetrus Pulse a plus)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, Chance of occasional Saturday if hours expand

Compensation:

Competitive pay based on experience starting at $22/hour.
