The Teller position is a vital role within our financial institution, responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient customer transactions. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to customer service, as the teller will be the first point of contact for clients. The primary end result of this role is to maintain accurate cash handling and provide exceptional service, thereby fostering customer loyalty and trust. The Teller will also assist in balancing cash drawers and resolving discrepancies, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. Ultimately, this role contributes to the overall success of the branch by enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a banking or financial environment.
- Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Must be willing to assist other locations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with banking software and technology.
- Knowledge of financial products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and balance cash drawer, ensuring that all transactions are recorded, and discrepancies are addressed promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting bank products and services.
- Assist in the training of new tellers and support team members in daily operations.
- Adhere to all bank policies and procedures, including compliance with regulatory requirements.
