ABOUT THE ROLE

The Construction Project Coordinator will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial and institutional construction projects across the Southeast, PA region. This position requires experience in field-based project management, including oversight of subcontractors, scheduling, safety compliance, and cost control - with an emphasis on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC (MEP) systems.

This role is not suited for candidates with IT, marketing, or non-construction project management backgrounds.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Plan, organize, and control project activities to ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and field operations on-site.
  • Develop, review, and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets.
  • Prepare, review, and approve submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct jobsite visits to monitor progress, safety compliance, and workmanship.
  • Work closely with the estimating and engineering teams to develop proposals and bid packages.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety policies, and industry best practices.
  • Lead project meetings with clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to communicate project status and resolve issues.
  • Forecast labor, material, and equipment needs; manage procurement and logistics to support project timelines.
  • Provide cost tracking, financial reporting, and risk assessment for assigned projects.
  • Mentor and guide Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field staff.
  • Collaborate with the Solutions Group to ensure technical integration and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain positive client relationships through proactive communication and responsive service.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and recommend design or process improvements to optimize efficiency.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent field experience considered.
  • 2+ years of experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical (MEP) project management.
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, project scheduling, and financial management.
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or equivalent construction software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout Southeast, PA and occasionally to headquarters in Middleburg Heights.

WHY JOIN US

  • Lead high-impact projects across commercial and industrial sites, seeing your work make a real difference.
  • Collaborate with experienced teams of engineers, subcontractors, and project managers on dynamic construction initiatives.
  • Take ownership of projects from planning through execution, with hands-on responsibility for budgets, schedules, and quality.
  • Access supportive internal tools and resources to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Work on a variety of projects across the region, keeping your role engaging and challenging.
