Front of House Staff

☕ Front of House (Barista / Service) – Jezabel’s (Philadelphia)

Jezabel’s is looking for a Front of House team member to support daily service, coffee preparation, and the overall flow of the space.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands that great hospitality comes from attention to detail, teamwork, and care.

• 25–30 hours per week (year-round position)

• Hourly pay (based on experience; starting at $16/hour + tips )

• Shifts typically run Wednesday through Saturday , with Saturday required

• Location: 208 S 45th Street, Philadelphia

Jezabel’s is a small artisan Argentine bakery rooted in the flavors and traditions of Northwest Argentina. We serve medialunas, facturas, alfajores, empanadas, and coffee, with a focus on creating a warm, intentional experience for our community.

This role supports both service and daily operations. Responsibilities include:

• Welcoming guests and guiding them through the menu

• Preparing espresso drinks and maintaining coffee quality

• Managing orders, POS, and service flow

• Expediting food and coordinating with the kitchen

• Light prep (syrups, salads, restocking)

• Cleaning, dishwashing, and maintaining the space

Coffee experience is helpful but not required —we are happy to train the right person.

• A problem-solver — You take initiative and handle challenges with care

• Team-oriented — You communicate well with both FOH and BOH

• Grounded in the work — You understand that service includes cleaning, restocking, and supporting the team

• Eager to learn and grow

All new hires will follow a 2–4 week training period , including coffee basics, service flow, and standards of hospitality.
