Your Role as a Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF)
- Provide speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed, ASHA-certified SLP.
- Conduct or review speech-language screenings and or formal/informal assessments in classroom or school settings.
- Use assessment results to inform individualized treatment approaches and therapy goals.
- Provide a full continuum of support, including individual and group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to co-facilitate group therapy and ensure integrated care.
- Offer consultation to educators on language development, literacy instruction, and classroom communication strategies.
- Partner with caregivers, school staff, district representatives, and community stakeholders to address students’ communication needs.
- Recommend, support, and assist in securing AAC devices including both low and high-tech solutions.
- Participate in mentorship, supervision, and professional development throughout your fellowship.
Required Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited academic program
- Eligible for Clinical Fellowship and state licensure (if applicable)
- Commitment to collaborative, student-centered service delivery
- Passion for working with children in educational or therapeutic settings
