Description Penn Power Systems Service Technician Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Technician Manager to lead our service team and ensure the highest standards of maintenance, repair, and customer satisfaction. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee technical operations, mentor technicians, and contribute to the growth of our service department within a dynamic organization committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Penn Power Systems service technicians, ensuring timely and efficient completion of maintenance and repair tasks
• Coordinate and prioritize service schedules to meet customer needs and company standards
• Supervise and mentor technicians to enhance their technical skills and professional development
• Diagnose complex generator issues and provide technical guidance to team members
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation for all maintenance and repairs
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
• Manage and coordinate the use of equipment and tools necessary for service operations
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality
• Liaise with customers to provide technical support, updates, and ensure satisfaction

Requirements Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in generator maintenance, repair, or related technical fields
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to generators
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
