Job Description :
GENERAL OVERVIEW:
This job provides support for staff and patient care within the assigned imaging department.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Transports patients to and from clinical areas and verifies patient identity according to policies and procedures. Assists technologists with preparing patients for procedures. (30%)
-
Performs post-procedural duties including patient discharge, room clean up and restocking supplies. Assists with inventory control. (30%)
-
Assists technologists with delivering and retrieving patient reports/imaging, entering data, in electronic medical records, import and export through appropriate means and methods. (20%)

Provides nonclinical support to the department as necessary. (20%)

Any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
-
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months' experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CPR - American Heart Association
-
Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
-
Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
-
Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
Preferred
-
1 year experience in medical office or imaging office setting.
