Fire Protection/Life Safety Systems Engineer - * ON-SITE * - MULTIPLE USA LOCATIONS AVAILABLE
We are ACTIVELY HIRING for an ** ON-SITE - 12 MONTHS CONTRACT – TO – HIRE ** Role for a Fire Protection/Life Safety Systems Engineer with an Engineering Company in EITHER OF THOSE 5 LOCATIONS: Portland, OR.; Austin, TX.; Phoenix, AZ.; Pittsburg, PA.; Albany, NY.
PLEASE NOTE: Other locations in the USA can be considered for fully qualified candidates!
PAY RANGE : Negotiable. Please let me know your hourly expectations in the message.
- ROLE: Fire Protection/Life Safety Systems Engineer
- LOCATION: EITHER OF THESE 5 LOCATIONS: Portland, OR.; Austin, TX.; Phoenix, AZ.; Pittsburg, PA.; Albany, NY.
- DURATION: 12 MONTHS CONTRACT – TO – HIRE (Converts to PERM/DIRECT HIRE after 12 months)
- WORK MODEL: ON – SITE
- SCHEDULE : M – F, 8am – 5pm, 40 hours/week
- PTO POLICY: There is NO Paid Time Off while on a contract . It is available after the conversion to a perm/direct hire role .
- MEDICAL BENEFITS: Available after 60 days
TOP REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be eligible to work directly with the company ONLY ON W2 basis without requiring any visa sponsorship.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with the ability to attain PE licensure
- 4 + years’ experience with: AutoCAD Design; Fire Alarm, VESDA systems, security CCTV, HPM and Leak Detection; estimating and scheduling projects
- Knowledge of : IFC, IBC, NFPA101 Life Safety Code and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, NFPA 70 (NEC) and electrical design, NFPA 400 Hazardous Materials Code, Fire Alarm Systems and manufacturers’ equipment, including VESDA systems, design and construction specifications.
