This is a union position on a rotating 12-hour schedule (days and nights), built for problem-solvers who thrive in fast-moving plants.

What You’ll Tackle

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment to minimize downtime
• Machine and fabricate parts on lathes, mills, grinders, and related shop tools
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to plan and execute work
• Perform preventive maintenance routines to boost reliability
• Resolve issues across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Document repairs, PMs, and parts usage with accuracy
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications
• Champion 5S and safety to sustain a clean, organized work area
• Partner with maintenance and production teams to prioritize and execute work

What You Bring

• 5+ years in a machine shop or industrial maintenance setting
• Hands-on proficiency with lathes, mills, grinders, and precision tooling
• Ability to read prints and use precision measuring instruments
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Welding and fabrication capability
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (climbing, bending, etc.)
• Comfort with rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights) and overtime as needed

Preferences

• Background in manufacturing or production environments
• Prior union experience
• Forklift/tow motor certification, or ability to earn within 30 days
• Strong team orientation and self-driven work ethic
