Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in an onsite school setting located in York, PA. The position operates under a contract for the entire school year, with a weekly schedule of 35 hours. The caseload includes students exhibiting moderate to severe behaviors, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and a variety of speech and communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans for students
• Support students with moderate to severe behavioral challenges and diverse speech needs, including those with ASD
• Monitor and document student progress and communicate effectively with the clinical team and educators
• Maintain a safe, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment for all students

Qualifications:

• Valid SLPA certification approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education Board is required
• Experience working with school-age children, particularly in a K-12 environment, is preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload with varying degrees of speech and behavioral challenges
• Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate with staff and families
