Location: Norfolk Southern Pittsburgh Terminal (Wall, PA).
Shift: Monday to Friday, 3 PM - 11 PM.
Pay: $17 per hour.

We’re hiring immediately for a full-time Outdoor Gate Clerk working at the Norfolk Southern Pittsburgh Terminal. No experience needed - we’ll teach you everything you need to know in order to be successful on the job!

Important: Applicants must live within 45 minutes of Wall, PA. We are not considering out-of-area or relocation candidates.

What You’ll Do:

• Inspect intermodal units arriving and departing the terminal.
• Check unit numbers, container condition, and seals.
• Document damage and complete paperwork.
• Use computer systems to report issues.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Keep inspection areas clean and safe.
• Verify temperature settings on refrigerated units.
• Take photos of outgoing cargo when needed.
• Support customer service and team goals.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow directions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass a drug test and 7-year background check.
• Experience in the railroad industry is a plus, but not required.

Work Conditions:

• Outdoor environment: rain, snow, heat, cold, wind, dust.
• Fast-paced yard with moving equipment.
• Frequent walking and noise exposure.
