Associate Product Manager
An Associate Product Manager responsible for integrating third‑party regulatory solutions faces the ongoing challenge of delivering compliant, scalable functionality in an environment where regulatory requirements evolve faster than product development cycles. The role requires coordinating multiple external vendors —each with distinct data models, APIs, and coverage areas— to support customer obligations across sanctions, AML, and fraud prevention. Unlike building solely in ‑ house capabilities, this role centers on evaluating, integrating, and sustaining third ‑ party technologies that address specific regulatory needs across industries, jurisdictions, and transaction types. The APM must balance speed of integration with solution accuracy, usability, and regulatory alignment, all while minimizing operational friction such as false positives, alert volume, and screening latency. Success depends on translating complex and sometimes ambiguous regulatory expectations into clear product requirements and integration patterns that work within customers’ existing workflows and technical ecosystems. At the same time, the APM must work closely with engineering, compliance, and partner teams to ensure integrations remain resilient, configurable, and adaptable as regulations, partner capabilities, and customer risk profiles evolve. How will I make an impact? You’ll help to evolve Innovative’s industry leading name and payment screening capabilities with new partner offerings that will deliver additional value and functionality to our customers. You will also partner closely with customers, engineers, and industry experts to identify industry opportunities for solutions. Your work will directly influence how organizations detect financial crime while delivering modern, real‑time payment experiences.
This role is a great fit if you:
- Are energized by the compliance ecosystem
- Enjoy solving complex, real‑world problems through innovative solutions
- Thrive at the crossroads of customer needs, emerging technology, and regulation
- Support the product lifecycle for partner products, including evaluation, roadmap development, requirements definition, and release management.
- Support end ‑ to ‑ end business requirements gathering across teams, translating needs into clear functional and technical requirements for engineering.
- Work with Global Partner Managers to identify new partner integrations and platform functionality
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and industry trends to inform product decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and revenue stakeholders to design and deliver enhancements across partner offerings.
- Analyze usage data, user feedback, and operational metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
- Support go ‑ to ‑ market planning, customer onboarding, and internal enablement for new product capabilities.
- Research and understand capabilities of key competitors, their product focus, and serve as an internal expert of the competitive landscape for revenue and product teams.
- Stay current with global KYC/AML regulations, network rules, and market innovations to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of relevant product management experience (or similar roles) within payments, fintech, or financial services. will give you the right foundational skills. Adding to that you'll have:
- Expert level writing skills to support drafting detailed product requirements documents that engineering can take and transform into functional development requirements.
- Foundational understanding of KYC/AML requirements across various industries globally.
- Working knowledge of payment systems, including ACH, SWIFT, real time payments, cross ‑ border settlement, FX considerations, and regional variations in payment schemes.
- Genuine enthusiasm for engaging with customers, uncovering needs, and translating insights into product improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem ‑ solving skills with an ability to interpret complex technical and regulatory requirements.
- Previous experience in developing and implementing third party offerings into SaaS based platforms
