SUMMARY

The CNC Saw Drill Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating the a saw to cut steel beams to length.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Select correct machine settings for optimal sawing operations.
• Measure materials to assure conformance with design specifications.
• Select correct material type, stock size and dimensions.
• Transfer appropriate data onto materials.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Keep an accurate record of daily operations and material usage.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and assist in trouble shooting any machine issues.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with operating CNC machines or experience with sawing/cutting operations is required.
• Must be able to read a tape measure to within 1/16".
• Skilled with safely operating overhead cranes and the material transfer/convey system.
• Possess ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time.
• Ability to interpret CAD drawings, symbols and notes is preferred.
• Must be able to tolerate hot and cold working environments.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and exhibit a strong work ethic.
• Must demonstrate professionalism and uphold our core values of being customer-centric and problem solvers.
• Will work on 2nd shift.
