CVA Plumbing & Heating is a small, family-style HVAC company looking for a reliable and friendly Office Secretary to help keep daily operations organized and running smoothly. This position works out of a private home office, so professionalism, respect for privacy, and a positive attitude are extremely important.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structure, helping customers, and being part of a tight-knit team.
Responsibilities
Answer phone calls and schedule service appointments
Communicate with customers regarding service updates
Dispatch technicians and organize daily job routes
Create and send invoices & estimates
Process payments and maintain customer records
Assist with bookkeeping tasks
Organize paperwork and digital files
Order parts and track materials
Follow up with customers after service visits
Requirements
Strong communication and customer service skills
Patience and ability to stay calm in busy situations
Comfortable working in a home office environment
Reliable and punctual (must arrive at 7:30 AM)
Basic computer skills (email, typing, file organization)
Willing to learn QuickBooks Online or prior experience preferred
Ability to multitask and stay organized
Trustworthy and respectful of a private workspace
Preferred (Not Required)
Office or dispatch experience
Construction, plumbing, or HVAC industry familiarity
Experience with scheduling or customer service roles
Compensation & Benefits
Paid bi-weekly
Stable weekday schedule (no nights or weekends)
Training provided

Paid time off begins after 1 year of employment
After 60 months of employment, employees become eligible for benefits.
CVA Plumbing & Heating covers a percentage of benefit costs once eligible.
