A highly respected educational institution in Hershey, PA is seeking a Director of Application Systems to lead the strategy, reliability, and support of its enterprise application environment. What You’ll Do

• Lead a team supporting a wide range of business applications, including PeopleSoft ERP (HCM, FSCM, ELM) , SIS, HR, Finance, Healthcare, and instructional systems.
• Ensure applications are secure, reliable, optimized, and available 24/7.
• Oversee system upgrades, enhancements, integrations, documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements in technology, data integration, and processes.
• Manage operational and capital budgets, vendor relationships, and key contracts.
• Collaborate with IT leadership on new system selection and implementation.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to leadership, staff, and vendors.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Systems, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years in application management or IT leadership
• Strong experience with application support, development, integrations, and SDLC
• Excellent organizational, communication, and prioritization skills
• Ability to manage teams, balance operations with project work, and solve complex issues
• High integrity and interest in contributing to a mission-driven educational environment
