Job Summary
Th e Assembler is responsible for the accurate assembly and testing of products across multiple product lines. This role requires attention to detail, quality workmanship, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly or testing issues while following manufacturing standards and continuous improvement practices.
Job Description
- Assemble components across all product lines using the correct tools and fixtures
- Test assembled products to ensure functionality and quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to product assembly and testing
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Identify components and apply appropriate rework techniques when necessary
- Operate equipment and ensure proper dimensioning and tolerance settings of mechanical parts and assemblies
- Create and maintain accurate labor records for all transactions
- Apply Manufacturing System principles and tools to support continuous improvement initiatives
Skills Required
- Minimum of 2 years of assembly or related manufacturing experience
- Strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and consistency
- Experience in the drilling equipment or oil & gas industry
- Forklift and/or overhead crane experience
- Rotating weekends required
- Overtime may be required based on business needs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
Education
- Highschool diploma or GED
Pay Rate
- $18 - $19 p er hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
Additional Requirements
- Schedule : 1st Shift - M-F 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
