Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic individual to serve as 7th Grade English, Religion and Homeroom teacher for the 2026-2027 school year .The ideal candidate will create a challenging and structured classroom environment that supports the academic, social and spiritual growth of students while helping us build a culture of joy.

Key Responsibilities
? Instruction and Curriculum Delivery:
? Implement unit plans aligned with the curriculum and standards of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia
? Foster critical thinking and active engagement, using best practices in teaching and learning
? Utilize a variety of formative and summative assessment tools to drive instruction and maximize student outcomes
? Accommodate student needs to support progress and success for all; participate in learning support meetings as needed.
? Classroom Management:
? Maintain a respectful, safe and orderly classroom environment.
? Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage appropriate student behavior.
? Faith Formation:
? Integrate Catholic teachings and values into daily lessons and classroom activities.
? Prepare students for the Sacrament of Confirmation, creating service opportunities and faith formation.
? Work with grade partner and music teacher to plan one monthly Mass
? Collaboration:
? Communicate effectively with the Middle School Colleagues, School Principal, and parents to support student success.

? Serve on committees and share building duties as needed and/or assigned
Qualifications
? Bachelor’s degree in English Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
? Valid teaching certification, with experience teaching Middle School students preferred.
? Practicing Catholic strongly preferred, with a commitment to upholding the school’s mission and values.
? Experience with classroom technology and digital tools to enhance learning.
? Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
? Ability to teach multiple subjects a plus!!
