Marketing Community Specialist

Job Summary
The Marketing Community Specialist supports the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns to drive brand awareness, member engagement, and product growth.
In addition to supporting marketing initiatives, this role is responsible for expanding community presence within the credit union’s charter area by building relationships with local schools, businesses, and community organizations. This position plays a key role in identifying new business opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and increasing membership growth through proactive outreach and engagement. This position is not remote.
Responsibilities and Duties
Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, product growth, and member engagement.
Track and analyze campaign performance and marketing activity results; prepare reports and recommendations.
Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistent member engagement efforts.
Create, write and schedule content for digital and print channels including social media, email, website, and in-branch promotions.
Build and maintain relationships with schools, businesses, and community organizations in the charter areas.
Identify and pursue new partnerships and business development opportunities through proactive outreach.
Track community outreach activity and provide reporting and partnerships, engagement, and growth results.
Adheres to all policies and procedures set forth by the Credit Union.
Assist VP of Marketing and Chief Relationship Officer and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Associate or bachelor's degree in related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
2+ years of experience in marketing, community engagement, business development, or related fields required.
Strong networking and relationship building skills required.
Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and proactively identify growth opportunities.
Strong written and verbal communications skills including excellent time management skills and public speaking.
Experience in marketing software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Vista Create, social media management platforms, and analytics software preferred.
