Serving the South Hills of Pittsburgh for 30 years, Montessori Childrens Schoolhouse provides a carefully planned, stimulating environment based on the tenants of Dr. Maria Montessori. Our objective is to help children develop within themselves the fundamental habits, attitudes, skills, and ideas which are essential for a lifetime of creative thinking and learning. We are seeking a part-time Primary (3-6) assistant teacher who is comfortable working in a co-teaching model.

Our ideal candidate is a dedicated, creative & hardworking self-starter, interested in long-term employment with excellent communication and organizational skills, has high energy and lives & thinks outside the lines. Interested applicants must have or will be eligible for PA Dept. of Education certification for ECE/Kindergarten and is passionate about working with young children. Department of Education ECE/K Montessori certification is a plus; however, we are willing to provide a path to certification for the right candidate. MCSH prides itself on the continuing development of its teachers so as to provide the highest level of early childhood education offered in the South Hills.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
