VP, AI & Engineering

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a VP of AI & Engineering for a full-time role with a specialty insurance provider in the Conshohocken, PA area. This person will be responsible for building out proprietary technology and AI around the insurance providers underwriting process. This role will still be around 50% hands-on, and this VP should have the capabilities of a high-level Engineer/Architect. It is expected that this person can lead the Application Engineering side of the business, and be able to come in and train staff on using new AI tools on product and application development initiatives. This person will have the ability to introduce new AI code generation tools to the organization.

This VP will initially lead a team of around 10-12 people, but will be expected to build out division over time. One of the main goals of this group is to build out an AI driven, end-to-end underwriting process. They will be deploying agentic based workflows into both existing and new applications. This environment is mostly Microsoft based, with a significant Azure presence and a .NET development stack.

Skills and Requirements

• 7+ years experience in AI (deploying agentic based workflows, utilizing AI code generation tools)

• Experience leading AI transformation

• 10+ years in Application/Software Development

• Expert level .NET background

• IT leadership experience - Insurance/Financial Services background
