About the Role:

As a Direct Support Professional at Quality Life Human Services, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. Join our dedicated team in Coplay, PA, and make a meaningful impact by providing support and encouragement every day.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, fostering independence and personal growth.
• Implement individualized support plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Facilitate community engagement and social activities to promote inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor health conditions as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and incidents.
• Collaborate with team members and families to ensure consistent care and communication.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience in the healthcare or social services field is a plus, but not required. We will train.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Background check clearance as per state regulations.
