Pastry Cook
Accredited Chef Laurent Tourondel is bringing his culinary expertise to Philadelphia with his new restaurant concept Terra Grill.
We are a group of passionate hospitality professionals with a profound sense of ownership and pride in all aspects of restaurant service. We are looking for talented and professional individuals to join our team.
Primary Duties:
To properly prepare baked goods and pastries to accompany restaurant service.
This is a mid-day prep position.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Willingness to learn.
- Clear communication with chefs and kitchen team.
- Follow all standardized recipe cards.
- Utilize prep and inventory lists for the kitchen and stations.
- Attend pre-service meetings according to schedule
- Willingness to learn other stations within the restaurant to allow every kitchen member the ability to help one another when necessary.
- Always ask when in doubt of anything.
- Accurately prepare orders in a timely manner.
- Able to possess an understanding of all menu items and preparations with training.
- Able to follow all company procedures.
- Ensure that your assigned station is set-up properly for service with all required mise en place and backups.
- Follow all food safety guidelines. Our highest priority is the safety and freshness of the food we serve our guests.
