Step into the role

At Re:Build Manufacturing – New Kensington, you’ll join a fast-moving team that blends engineering, operations, and technology to lift American manufacturing. A day in the life

You start your morning reviewing new RFQs and RFIs, clarifying technical points with customers, and organizing inputs for a cross-functional requirements review. By midday, you’re shaping schedules and delivery timelines, aligning them to capacity and on-time delivery targets, and drafting an integrated quote for Senior Leadership Team (SLT) review. In the afternoon, you convert wins into clean orders in the ERP, establish foundational project data, and reconcile bookings with Finance—then update the Operations Plan so production can ramp without surprises. Along the way, you tune the quoting process, track metrics, and surface ideas that guide future equipment or capability investments. Finally, you lead the production handoff from PO receipt through manufacturing start so execution is smooth and decisive.

What you will handle

• Coordinate RFQs/RFIs/proposals and serve as a technical point-of-contact with customers.
• Log, track, and route incoming quotation requests to the right subject-matter experts.
• Plan and run requirements reviews; compile cross-functional inputs for accurate estimates.
• Build initial schedules and delivery plans aligned to capacity and customer need dates.
• Assemble integrated quotations for SLT review and approval.
• Continuously refine quoting workflows and KPIs; share insights that inform new equipment/capability acquisition.
• Enter/manage customer orders; stand up core project data in the ERP system.
• Create and reconcile booking reports in partnership with Finance.
• Coordinate new RFQs with production schedules to ensure proper lead times and OTD performance.
• Maintain the Operations Plan using inputs from multiple functions.
• Draft and update procedures to drive continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Support Manufacturing Engineering tasks as needed.

What you bring

• Associate’s degree in a technical or business field, plus 2+ years in a manufacturing environment in a coordination/administrative capacity.
• Working knowledge of CNC machining processes and equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, engineering drawings, and financial data; excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with comfort operating amid limited standardization; can follow written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled instructions.
• Microsoft Office proficiency with advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, visualization); ERP familiarity (Infor SyteLine, SAP, or similar) is a strong plus.
