? Overview

My client is seeking a Financial Controller to lead and oversee core accounting and financial operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation who can manage day-to-day functions while contributing to financial planning and accuracy.

? Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
• Manage payroll processing (experience with ADP preferred)
• Prepare and review financial statements
• Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and lead month-end close
• Ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance with GAAP
• Develop and support financial forecasts and reporting
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights to leadership

? Qualifications

• Strong background in accounting fundamentals (must-have)
• Experience in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
• Hands-on experience with month-end close and GL maintenance
• Familiarity with ADP payroll systems preferred
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• CPA preferred (not required)
