Senior Category Manager

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Reporting to the SVP of Customer Success, this position will be key to the development and growth of our cubicle curtain business. Supporting the Sales, Ops, and Service Team, the Senior Category Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan focused on driving Cubicle Curtain revenue - both new and cross sell - enhancing profitability, and ensuring consistent service delivery. This role will ensure key metrics are met which will include but not limited to: Cubicle Curtain Revenue (including new business & internal growth), Category Contribution Margin, Scanning/Service Compliance, and timely installation commitments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and gain alignment on ImageFIRST direction on Cubicle Curtains with SVP of Customer Success
- Establish leading viewpoint / company expert in the Cubicle Curtain strategy and business performance
- Development of Cubicle Curtain go to market and sales strategy
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the curtain market including competitors, direct-sale, reusable and non-reusable offerings
- Accountable for company-wide sales and service team training on all aspects of the Cubicle Curtain business, marketing and pricing strategies
- Continuous improvement actions:
- efficiencies in the ordering process
- streamlining of quoting process
- proper scanning and service requirements
- improvement of SOP for scanning compliance and accountability
- improvement of speed to revenue in sales process
- monitor and follow training status of sales associates
- Work jointly with Procurement to manage suppliers, cost of acquisition, and supply chain performance
- Drive assortment strategy informed by market insights, including evolving customer needs and trends
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience, including 2-3 years specifically in a category management role
- Experience with data analysis
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, minimum required
- Business acumen
- Ability to travel as needed - 25%+
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
