Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Concrete Finishers and Concrete Laborers for immediate Temp-to-Hire opportunities in Wernersville, PA.

These are long-term opportunities offering steady 40+ hour work weeks with overtime potential and room for permanent hire.

PAY:

• Concrete Finishers: $32.00-$35.00/hr. based on experience
• Concrete Laborers: $29.00/hr.

HOURS: 8+ hour shifts starting at 6:00 AM
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday; 40+ hours/week
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: Temp-to-Hire

Concrete Finisher & Laborer Job Description:

Candidates will support commercial concrete construction projects performing concrete finishing and general labor duties. Responsibilities may include smoothing and finishing poured concrete surfaces such as sidewalks, curbs, walls, and slabs; screeding, bull floating, hand finishing, operating power trowels, setting forms, grading, prep work, transporting materials, shoveling, raking, jackhammering, demolition, pipe installation, and assisting crews with concrete pours and site preparation. Work will primarily be performed outdoors on active commercial construction sites.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 2 years of concrete finishing, concrete labor, or construction experience
• Experience with screeds, bull floats, mag floats, power trowels, form setting, grading, and material handling preferred
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, jackhammers, compactors, and basic construction equipment
• Experience working around excavation and underground utilities is a plus
• Must have own tools including concrete boots, trowels, mag float, hammer, tape measure, margin trowel, and small sledgehammer
• Must have valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and clean MVR
• Must be able to safely use PPE and work in outdoor weather conditions
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs., bend frequently, and perform physically demanding work
