JOB TITLE: Shipping and Receiving Assistant

LOCATION: Hanover, MD

PAY RATE: Up to $20/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Perform a mix of manual and clerical warehouse duties.

• Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, and processing inventory in alignment with contract requirements and company standards.

• Receive, unpack, count, and inspect inbound materials for accuracy and conformance

• Log and process materials in the P2P system

• Prepare materials for shipment, including verifying quantity, weight, and proper identification

• Handle freight bills, packing slips, shipping documents, and route merchandise appropriately

• Perform inventory storage and general warehouse tasks

• Follow proper shipping procedures and transportation schedules

• Regularly lift and move items up to 50 lbs (team lifts as needed)

• May be trained and certified to operate forklifts or other powered industrial vehicles

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 1 2 years minimum in warehouse, material movement, or inventory control

• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

• Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems and logistics tracking

• Ability to maintain accuracy while adapting quickly in a fast-paced environment

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
