Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and reliable Shop Laborer to join our production team. This role involves assisting with the manufacturing, shaping, cutting, and finishing of diamond wire and springs for various industrial applications. You will work closely with experienced technicians to ensure products meet strict quality standards. Shop Laborer Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain wire cutting, coiling, and spring-making equipment Assist in setup and changeovers for different production runs Measure, inspect, and test products to ensure specifications are met Handle raw materials and finished goods with care Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all safety guidelines and report any hazards to supervisors Perform other shop duties as assigned Shop Laborer Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred Previous manufacturing or shop experience is a plus (will train the right candidate) Ability to read and interpret measurements and technical drawings Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand/power tools Strong attention to detail and quality Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment Shop Laborer Benefits: Competitive hourly wage Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for training and career advancement Safe and supportive work environment Commercial Employees is a veteran-led staffing firm with 7 Pittsburgh offices and 2 in Charleston.
