Maintenance Mechanic

Our client located in Conshohocken, PA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. You won't just be "fixing machines." You will be solving complex issues in sophisticated production environment. Your expertise ensures that high-temperature thermal systems and heavy-duty processing equipment operate at peak efficiency. Shift: Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM. Occasional overtime on Saturdays is offered. Salary: $33-37/hr based on experience. The ideal candidate will posess at least 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance repair. This candidate will need a mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities:
 Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery
 Troubleshoot and maintain motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools and hydraulic equipment.
 Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics.
 Source replacement parts and perform repairs.
 Work with facility manager to continually update the production process and system software.
 Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime.
 Safely operate hoist, power tools, hoists and hand tools.
 Assess the condition of used parts using micrometers, calipers and specifications.
 Maintain parts and tools inventory.
 Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical knowledge via on-going training,
industry workshops and technical reading.
 Snow removal and similar related duties

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
