Graduate Intern - Evidence & Value Generation (EVG)
The Real-World Evidence & Analytics (RWE/A) team, part of the Global Evidence & Value Generation (EVG) organization, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Intern to support real-world data initiatives.
This internship provides hands-on experience applying data science and AI-enabled approaches to real-world data (RWD), with a strong emphasis on data cleaning, structuring, visualization, and documentation . The ideal candidate is passionate about data, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to innovative projects that generate meaningful insights and value. Duration: 1 Year (with potential extension) Location: Remote Tentative Start: June 2026, Tentative End: September 2026 Pay Rate (Non-Negotiable): Master's $35/hour., PhD $40/hr. location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania job type: Contract salary: $35 - 40 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Doctorate Responsibilities- Support the team in data cleaning and preprocessing for real-world evidence (RWE) projects.
- Research and evaluate emerging AI techniques for automating the cleaning and structuring of real-world data (RWD), and present key findings to the team.
- Collaborate with data scientists and researchers on data visualization tools to communicate findings effectively.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects that integrate AI with clinical and health economics research.
- Document methodologies, experiments, and results to ensure reproducibility and
- transparency.
- Master's or PhD program (current enrollment) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Advanced proficiency in R or Python for data manipulation and statistical modeling.
- Demonstrated experience with SQL and the management of both structured and unstructured datasets.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI and/or Tableau)
- Fundamental understanding of statistical methodologies as applied to scientific research.
- Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Hands-on experience working with real-world or observational datasets (e.g., healthcare, claims, EHR, registry, or large-scale operational data)
- Demonstrated strength in data readiness, including data cleaning and preprocessing for downstream analysis
